Day 13!!!

Oddly, it’s mine & Karla’s lucky #!

I wore #13 playing lacrosse and I used to say “luck has nothing to do with it”

I’ve actually been thinking a lot about my time as a lacrosse goalie, & how painful that could be, & when people would ask why the heck I wanted to be a goalie I would always say I liked the mental challenge of it…and I realized those lessons are serving me so well now.

How I have to keep my head in the game even when it hurts, even when the shots keep coming, you have to keep thinking about the next shot, not the one before.

Sports have been such a HUGE part of my life & reflecting on those lessons is really special
