I did not let sickness keep me from enjoying time with those I love and that is what I will remember about today

This was a beautiful one to read, because here I am, two years later, knowing full well all I’ve remembered of this day is getting to go to Top Golf for the first time. I know I was in excruciating pain – particularly in my mouth – but I really don’t remember the specifics of that feeling at all.

I hope this post serves as a small nudge to someone in pain to keep surrounding themselves with those they love and to be present in those moments, and maybe, just maybe, that’s what all you’ll remember years later ❤
