Today Clea Shearer shared her cancer story, & although heartbroken for her, it really meant a whole heck of a lot to me ((shared on my Facebook story))

She is from The Home Edit – my favorite organization show – anyone who knows me knows organization is basically a personality trait of mine

I decided upon being discharged from the hospital today I wanted to make my first trip to The Container Store (always used on their show) and was literally sent the news of her diagnosis as I was on the way out of the door…

My favorite part about what she said was she had her “why me” moment, but then thought “why NOT me”

because she has all the support in the world and knew she could handle it

& that is truly how I feel

This burden has been heavy, but I, myself, and my community is only stronger for it

So thank you, Clea, basically my #1 celebrity crush, next to #12, for being even more of an inspiration to me than you already were & now I REALLY hope to get a job on your show one day
