Ed Sheeran

Haven’t ~fully~ wrapped my head around Erika taking me to see Ed Sheeran (& Eminem !!!!!) live last weekend.

He’s another artist, like Taylor, who takes me back to 2:00 AM drives home in high school from Jacqui’s house singing “The A Team”; when Deb told me she thinks of Nick and I when she hears “Perfect”, and how it was almost our first dance song, and now, listening to his Subtract album about a friend he lost and his wife being diagnosed with cancer, frankly it’s overwhelming. I am in awe of his story telling and the fact that his voice live is even better than I imagined ~sublime~

If you haven’t listened to Subtract – I really recommend it – my favorites are “Boat”, “Life Goes On” check out the one with Luke Combs, “Dusty”, and “Toughest” on the deluxe version.
