New Year Resolutions

Written 01/06/2023

I say to hell with not setting New Year resolutions – find out what you’re capable of this year and build the confidence and trust in yourself so you have it when life knocks you down 👊🏼 (apparently I’m capable of getting back my voice, eating solid foods, relearning how to use my left hand, beating cancer, finding a new job, making new friends, starting multiple disciplines of therapy, saving money for emergencies, and so much more!)

Thank you for sharing. I was ready to give up because I have done 8 weeks of PT going in twice a week and I’m not “better”. It still hurts to climb stairs, my knee still gives out sometimes, and I have the tingling and sometimes numb feeling in my one leg. I wasn’t looking at my gains. My legs are stronger then they have been since breaking my patella in 2016. There is less pain with stairs then there was. My core is much stronger. Counseling for my anxiety has helped. Unfortunately my therapist moved. But, I will keep trying!
